3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Ron (1988) - Rochester, New York, USA - MAY 21, 2013
At the brewpub in DC. Hazy cloudy yellow pour. The front gives clove, and then the banana comes in, finishing with coriander, pepper, and bubblegum. Good, soft palate. Not too sweet. Very enjoyable after a day walking around DC.

3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 DiarmaidBHK (2274) - Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 3, 2011
Pours cloudy yellow from tap with a thin white head that doesn’t lace. It’s not as cloudy as most hefe’s I’ve seen. Big bouquet of banana and spice on the nose less so on the tongue. It’s a tad dry for my taste although it finishes clean.
2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 ben4321 (2991) - Hoboken, New Jersey, USA - AUG 10, 2009
Location: Tap at the Brew Pub , 8/7/09
Overall Impression:
Eh, I found this to be a pretty boring Hefe. Not a ton going on here, mostly just light wheaty flavors and light spice, standard and a bit dull, not bad, but probably near the bottom of the sampler for me...

Draught at the brewpub, 5.7% ABV Muddy blond color. The aroma has some nice esthers, spices and banana. The flavor has a strong wheat character, but ends a bit metallic. It’s not my style, but it’s not bad.

2.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 Sammy (7035) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JUL 2, 2008
Enjoyed on tap at the brewpub. The aroma is musty and funky yeast is apparent. Lacey. Drinkable, but ther is sourness in mid sip and then it is constrained, and drying. Above average mouthfeel yet it is acidic in the mouth. Cloves.
