On tap 5 oz. sample at the District Chophouse & Brewer in downtown Washington, DC. Clear, pale yellow-straw color with a near white head and very good lacing. Very mild aroma of grain. Taste of light caramel, grain and mild floral hops. Medium/light body and medium/high carbonation. Very nice for a light beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Tap at the brewpub. Clear light golden pour with a white head. Simple grain and slightly sweet, but a good take on the style.

Draft at the source. Bright yellow color, thin white head. Aroma of straw. Taste is bitter lager. Medium body. Too reminiscent of the macros.

Draught at the brewpub. Weak grainy aroma. Almost clear yellow colour. The flavour is slightly grainy, but not unpleasant. Creamy mouthfeel. Chalky finish. Good for the style.

This beer was to light. Pale pour with a faint grassy aroma. Flavor was grassy and didn’t work well with the relatively high alcohol content for the body.

Pours golden from tap with an inch of white foam. Not a lot of aroma. Clean, crisp taste with a full, rich, creamy finish. Finishes clean.

Reviewed from notes. Pours a clear yellow straw color with plenty of visible carbonation bubbles and a nice white head. The nose brings some light grain and not too much else. No vegetables or cardboard, which is a plus here. Taste is similar with mild grain. Light body and really nice drinkability, especially when compared against its "peers." Serving type: on-tap Reviewed on: 11-09-2010
