This straw-colored brew is fashioned after great American light Lagers. Flavorful while being easy to drink makes this Lager a year round favorite.

Pours golden from tap with an inch of white foam. Not a lot of aroma. Clean, crisp taste with a full, rich, creamy finish. Finishes clean.

Reviewed from notes. Pours a clear yellow straw color with plenty of visible carbonation bubbles and a nice white head. The nose brings some light grain and not too much else. No vegetables or cardboard, which is a plus here. Taste is similar with mild grain. Light body and really nice drinkability, especially when compared against its "peers." A light golden lager with a thin white head. In aroma, light grainy malt, with light hopping. In mouth, a pleasant and smooth lager, with biscuitty malt, short yet not bad. On tap at brewpub, Feb. 28 2010.

Overall Impression: I found this beer to be better then I expected. I mean it is a boring style, so you donít get a ton of excitement out of it usually, but this one at least was crisp, clean, and refreshing, and for itís style, more of a quality selection (vs. its own style) then most of their other offerings that I sampled.

Appearance: clear golden look with mid top , fine creamy looking head, some lace shown.3+
Nose: Mild straight , grainy character. Slight scent of fruity-hop nose.5+
Flavor/Palate : Soft mid bodied texture. Other than most lagers it does have tea like character. Good malted mid body with refreshing clean crispness.

Draught at the brewpub. Straw yellow with a small head and some random floating foam. Very light aroma of slight sulpher, clean, light pale malt sweetness, and very faint hops. Light pale malt and grain flavor, light honey sweetness, and a light hop snap that you really have to pay attention to pick up. Light bodied and crisp feel, yet not harshly carbonated like you would expect from a macro version of the style. Itís sad to say it, but this was the standout of the sampler. Still not a beer that I would get again, but damn, its clean and well done for the style, something that I couldnít say of any of their other beers, even if I would have gone for another one of them over this for another round.
