COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This straw-colored brew is fashioned after great American light Lagers. Flavorful while being easy to drink makes this Lager a year round favorite.

Draft... Clear, light yellow lager with a small, creamy, white head. Great retention. The nose is a touch grainy, but mostly nondescript. Regarding flavor, there’s just not much there. Tastes much like any light lager brewed up and spit out by B, M or C. Weird hop combination. Light-bodied and a bit creamy with medium carbonation. Thin, watery finish.

Sampled on tap on 7/15/06: Pours a transparent golden with a thin ring of white head. Fruity noble hoppy aroma is quite refreshing for a light beer. Body starts thin, but has a touch of malty sweetness before revealing more grainy flavor. Not that great, but pretty good for the style.

On tap at the District Chophouse. Pours a clear golden yellow with a thin white head. Esters, grain, a touch of citrus. Toasty grain, buttered popcorn. Finishes up with some light bitterness and a bunch of grain.

Tap at the brewpub. Clear light golden pour with a white head. Simple grain and slightly sweet, but a good take on the style.

Appearance: clear golden look with mid top , fine creamy looking head, some lace shown.3+
Nose: Mild straight , grainy character. Slight scent of fruity-hop nose.5+
Flavor/Palate : Soft mid bodied texture. Other than most lagers it does have tea like character. Good malted mid body with refreshing clean crispness.

Braudog (5832) - Glenville, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 8, 2007
Draft pint at the District Chophouse; ridiculously light in color but there’s a nice smooth malty biscuity-ness to this; I sense this is almost Koelschy! Pretty enjoyable light beer, I must say. (#2779, 4/7/2007)

Draught at Brewpub - RBSG DC 06 Golden color, white head, nice lacing. Nose of diacetyl and pale malt. Some lemony cream and a touch of creamyness. The flavor is grassy, some pale malt and a bit of husk. Finishes wet and a bit dry and bitter.
