Bottle 500ml.Pours reddish brown with a tan head.Aroma of toast and roast with some caramel and maybe a hint of phenolic.Flavour is licorice , toasted and sweet malt with some apple and phenolic notes.Medium body, lively carbonation.

Bottle. Dark amber colour with a beige head. Aroma is roasted malt, caramel. Flavour is sweet, roasted malt, green and yellow apple, yeast, caramel. Medium body. OK beer.

Bottle. An almost clear, dark brown beer that gushed a little. Diminishing, finger-thick dark beige head. Sweet, candyish aroma with some phenolic notes and a hint of Turkish Pepper candy. Lots of licorice and hints of coffee. Sweet flavor with too much licorice. Slightly phenolic. Medium body, fizzy, yet smooth. Licorice and sweetness in the finish. A strange one, too sweet and with a licorice overkill, still sort of good, but I couldn’t drink a whole lot of it. 100407

Clear medium to dark brown color with a small small, fizzy, virtually none lacing, fully diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, caramel, sweet sweet malt, chocolate notes, spicy, light licorice. Flavor is heavy sweet and moderate to light light heavy bitter with a long duration, tobacco and a acrid bitter finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20100311]

50 cL bottle, courtesy of Papsoe. Pours hazy dark brown with a small and fizzy tan head. Aroma is spiced and yeasty herbal. Sweet malty, phenolic and slight spiced yeasty. Lingering caramelish note.

Bottled. An unclear dark red beer with a thin beige head. The aroma has notes of malt, caramel, and fruits. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, phenol, and caramel, leading to a dry phenolic finish.

Bottled. Dark amber coloured. Unclear. Dense light brown head. Aroma of spice, ripe fruits, light caramel. Flavour of medicin, spice, fruits and light herbs. Medium bodied. Dry spicy fruityness in the end.

Bottle. Cloudy orange brown coloured with a medium sized beige head. Sweet and fruity aroma of caramel and marzipan with notes of spices. Fruity flavour of caramel and spices with flowery notes and notes of chocolate. Spicy finish.

Clear mahogany with a medium beige head. Sweet aroma with roasted malt, caramel and spices. Sweet flavour with spices, roasted malt, caramel and hints of chocolate. Finished sweet.
