Oct 22, 2007 Strong milk chocolate in the nose that leaves the roasted malts as a quiet but notable afterthought. Opaque dark brown body is topped by a shy, off white head that recedes quite rapidly to ring. Very chocolatey flavour with dark malt bitterness sneaking into the finish. Medium body with a somewhat slick texture and moderate carbonation. Sampled on cask at the brewpub (Spring 2007).
