Easy brown look with small head and an aroma of honey roast, but wet sock as well. Caramel and honey roast flavor, but rather dank and musty at the same time.

UPDATED: SEP 30, 2006 Last rating was in 2003 and it’s been that long since a Honey Brown has appeared on the Dix menu. It sucked then but it’s been completely revamped now. Hazy amber-brown colour. Light crackerlike aroma. Toasty, lightly toffeeish malt character. Hints of chocolate. I’d say it pretty much picks up where the last Big Ridge Honey Brown left off and travels further towards the brown ale style. Not bad...I’ll be back over the long weekend to take a closer look at this.

Sparkling light brown with beige head. Very light sweet malt nose.Light rather bland malt flavor with a slight dirty line taste
