Black ,lasting tan head.Pungent cracked malt brown sugar nose. Very rich slighlty bitter dark malt profile , toasty Very nice

Pours a dark brown with minimal head and some lacing. Aroma of light molasses with a bit of chocolate malt. Lightly toasted taste, whole-wheat breadiness, rather weak and watery. Body is lightly creamy with passable carbonation. Not a particularly engaging beer.

(Draught) Pours a thin, white, dissipated head with a nose of diacetyl. Flavour is smooth and smokey, very minor butter finish. Average.

Billed as dunkel, dark lager, black lager depending on the server but Derrick called it a Schwarzbier. Medium-dark brown body. Thich head. Light chocolatey nose. Hint of chocolate, earth, toast in a light body. Mild but enjoyable.
