Fruity esters combine with grainy malts and some notes of cabbage in the nose. Hazy deep blonde/amber colored body is topped by a low but lasting white head. Malt character is quite grainy with light bitterness, citrus hop flavours and some doughy yeast character. Medium light body could use stronger carbonation or crisper bitterness as it feels a bit watery. Sampled on tap at the brewpub.

Pint. Big permanent fluffy head. Cloudy lace. Orangey light amber. Grainy chewy beer. Served very cold. Grainy vegetable flavour and feel. Has that lager steam character and taste.

Bright amber. Thick head. Delicate fruity-spicy aroma with a bit of sweaty yeastiness. Medium body allows prickly carbonation to show through. Initial notes of breadcrust, some spice (anise), musky yeast accents and slightly lemony hops. The finish is crisp, bready/toasty, caramel, and even a little refreshing.

This beer had a taste I always find hard to categorize. My term is Dirty Line(unclean chemical, akin to a distant whiff of a dirty ashtray.)If anyone has a better description please beermail me. I had the first pour of the day, so I waited til ater the lunch hour and had another sample, which was even worse. A hazy amber color with a generous lasting beige head. Light malt nose and taste, lightly hopped. But the off taste overshadowed all else!!
