12oz twist-off bottle. Clear golden color. long lasting yet thin white foamy head. Aroma of select grains, mostly corn meal. Also notes of earthy 2x4 lumber. Flavor of smooth creamy malt. Well balanced wood bitterness. Not necessarily pine hop bitterness, more like wood tannins. Finishes dry.

Not a lot going on here unfortunately. I suppose this could be somewhat refreshing in the summertime, but the lack of complexity and flavor is really a drawback for me.

Pours very light yellow with nonexistent head. Aroma is caramel with some bitterness. Flavor has some caramel too but it’s really watery. Not great.

Bottle served in a footed pils. Color is pale yellow and has few bubbles floating northward. Nice head at first, but that scrambles quickly. Light grainy aroma. Not much in that area. Light body, average carbonation. Slight sweetness and creaminess on the palate. Soft finish. Really subdued across the board. Could be refreshing on a hot Louisiana day I suppose, but in Oregon... I’ll take something with little more going on please.

Aroma of concord grapes, barley, mushrooms, and lime. Shimmering amber, thin head. Lemony barley flavor. Weak, but it has character.

Bottle: Wood aged huh? Sounds a lot like another well known pale lager that is wood aged. Looks a lot like it, smells a lot like it, and guess what, tastes like it too. You know what that means? It’s a duck. Grassy light husky nose, metallic mouthfeel and vague husky toasty malt in the finish.

Bottled. A hazy golden beer with a thin beige head. The aroma has notes of malt and straw. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt and straw, leading to a dry bitter finish.
