Clear golden pour. Smells of dirty grain. Some butter on the nose as well. Tastes of rough lager. Not refreshing in the least. Bitter malts with a buttery backbone. Bitter distasteful finish.

Bottled (BB 09/2010) from KKK Kamppi
This is brewed in Europe. Golden color, vanishing small white head. Fruity, apple-corn aroma with hints of diacetyl. Smells like a cider. Flavor is similar: apple, pear, grains and paper with some buttery notes. Aftertaste is a bit more dry. I wonder if the original one was better, but this is a copy of not so clean tropical bulk lager.

Bottled (from K Citymarket, Vaasa). Golden colour, small white head that disappears quickly. Aroma is grains, cereals, butterscotch as well as some rather sweet notes. Flavour is grainy, a bit alcoholic sweetness, mild hops and quite big on the butterscotch.

330 ml bottle. Finland. Slightly hazy golden colour with no head. Very cereal-grainy malty aroma with some caramel and buttery notes. Flavour is also very grainy malty with touch of crisp hops and butter. Quite basic malty Pale Lager.

I was absolutely shocked to see so many negative reviews of this beer. I thought it was outstanding and refreshing and incredibly drinkable. Has a bright, lager-yellow with a finger of foamy head. Tiny bubbles. The head separates it from other lagers. The smell is a pleasant pale aroma, almost wheaty. Not the same as that metallic lager smell with cereal-grain adjuncts. Sweet and crisp. Excellent for style. Some German barley malts in the flavor. A touch of bitterness, nicely balanced with the slightly wheaty sweet finish. Really nice. An exceptional light lager. Perfect sweetness with realy barley (not adjunct) balance. Feels nice, creamy and bubbly. Perfect for style. Overall, this is sweet and delicious. I think it’s what all American lagers should be. Bursting with bright flavor.

Bottle. Poured a pale yellow color with no head. Aroma was grain, corn and malts. Flavor was grains, very very faint hops, and metallic. Very thin body. Very good on a hot day. Sometimes you just want a beer that you can drink fast, and this is that beer. A step up for a pale lager, not like your AB crap.

12 oz. bottle at Parkway Tavern & Bakery in New Orleans. It’s a shame that it’s brewed in Wisconsin and sent down south. Pours clear gold with a foamy white head. Light aroma of grains, malt, corn. Flavor is also grainy, with some light floral hops and malt. Light, watery body. Inoffensive. Not much to it.
