12 oz. Clear topaz with a small, sorta-lasting head. Aroma is grain, honey, and maybe some peanuts. Flavor is strangely similar, and not unpleasant. Maybe its the cypress barrels? Light-medium body is a bit too frothy and slightly dry.

12oz bottle poured into a glass. DB pours medium yellow with a medium-sized white head that settles almost immediately. It has a slightly sour and slightly fruit aroma punctuated with a faint smell of chemically treated water. The taste is grainy with corn husks that reminds me of harvest in the fields. The body is heavy for a pale lager. This is a decent pale lager as far as it goes.

pours a normal beerish yellow. Has a small quickly dissipating head. Tastes like grain with a bit of smoke flavor in the aftertaste. A little bit sweet. I wouldn’t buy again but it’s cool to see the Dixie beer name living on. My dad told me Dixie used to be all over back in the day.

Pale yellow with a weak white head. Funky aroma and even worse taste. Enough said.

Single bottle from Total Wine in Huntersville, NC. Pours your average gold color with a little head. Aroma is grainy, taste is as well. Nothing too special about this.

Drank from a bottle in NO. Typical pale lager - reminded me of a cross between an abita amber and st. pauli girl (for but not nearly as good as either). Hopefully they can get back to something similar to their original brewing process.

Bottle. Pours a clear golden color with a small white head. The aroma is malt and corn. The taste is a pale malt with a metallic finish. Not too much going on with this lager.

a clear dark gold beer with decent lacing and a small frothy white head. sweet flowery malty aroma with a touch of caramel. flavor is similar to the aroma with an almost nutty aftertaste. not bad at all.
