12 ounce bottle from Beer Run in Charlottesville, VA. Pours a clear golden color with a large head. Average head retention and poor lacing. Aroma is grain, corn and skunk. Taste is tart grain and corn. Medium bodied.

Pours a light clear yellow color with fizzy white head. Smell is corn-ish sweetness to the malt and a touch cereal like. Perhaps corn pops. Taste is a bit less sweet than the smell perhaps, with a crisp, bubbly watery taste at first followed by a corn-pop like sweet malt finish. Lightly grassy bittering hops that balance enough to drink more than one of these. Not a terrible pale lager, and pretty clean with a lightly corny finish.

clear gold color, respectable white head, slightly lacy. nose of musty malt laced with a sweet corniness. flavor is mildly malty with not much else to round it out. medium bodied, a bit fizzy, lightly bitter finish. i misspent much of my youth drinking this at the old maple tree inn on 107th and western. say something pithy (i am writing my notes verbatim).

From a six pack coasting $8.99 at Bevmo. Not worth the money. Poured light yellow with a small fizzy white head and minimal lacing. Nose is grainy malts and light grassy hops. Mouthfeel light and fizzy. The flavor is malts and much else. This did not do much for me.

A desireable straw color pour with a 1/2 inch pure white head. Good pilsener style arom with skunky malt and hop mash aroma. A truely unique flavor with a one of a kind bitter malt sweetness. Texture is light and a little waxy. Brings back good memories if nuthin’ else.

Bottle 330ml.
Clear medium yellow color with a small to average, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, fruity, light hoppy. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average duration. Body is light to medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft. [20081004]

Bottle at The French Market in New Orleans with a plate of oysters and hot sauce. This is a pretty typical American Pale Lager. Grainy and slightly fruity. Nothing really bad about it. Light and refreshing, and even better when drinking in the French Quarter.

Bottle. Pale yellow, hardly any of the white head is left after blinking. Aroma is pretty much DMS and wet lawn clippings. Flavor has some cheap malts to go with corn. Just a poor excuse for a beer.
