1.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20 italianjohn (1638) - Penndel, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 9, 2008
this beer probably would be rated higher if i was in new orleans having it with crawfish and what not i guess but instead i’m in nc but what the heck is the deal with it being brewed in Wisconsin of all places? well anyway it ranks with the buds and millers cheap party beer with a metallic flavor nothing special

bottle - That’s nice of them to even warn me right on the label of this beer that it contains "select grains". Translation: we made another adjunct laden pale lager. It pours clear pale gold with a one finger rapidly dissipating white head. The mild aroma of of grain and pale malt. The flavor is a mildly hopped grainy, watery mess with a light, fuzzy body and some grain and hops lingering in the finish. Not good.
2.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 VitaminR (540) - Colorado, USA - APR 30, 2008
Spicy grass and tar on the nose. Hazy straw, medium head. Mild malts, spicy hops, some tartness as well. Highly carbonated and fizzy, seems a finish wants to make itself known, but disappears before it is defined. Not a bad simple lager, there are better ones, and plenty of worse ones out there.
2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 DandyWolfFloyd (378) - Jim Thorpe, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 28, 2008
Ok. This is rather normal, but it does have some qualities I do enjoy. It’s aroma is rather noticable, with some hops and malt. It’s appearance is rather ordinary golden, with a minor head. It’s flavor is mix of sweet malt and some spices. It’s a bit astringent a little to bitter on the way down.
1.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20 MrBunn (2006) - Western, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 13, 2008
Bottle. "Suds" would be a fairly good description of the appearance... Light color with a soapy head. Aroma of corn and honey with a touch of peppery hops. Flavor is a little soapy with a mix of sweet malt and very little to set Dixie apart from the other several thousand other pale lagers.
1.4 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20 blipp (3600) - Newark, New Jersey, USA - APR 12, 2008
Bottle. Pours gold with an off white head. Sweet malt aroma with grain and cereal. Light body. Flavor is light malt and slightly sour with a touch of sweetness. Unimpressive, but it’s better than Bud, not that that’s an accomplishment.
2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20 DKTN (110) - Mc Donald, Tennessee, USA - APR 7, 2008
Bottle, 12 oz. Looks and tastes like a pale lager, although this one is better than most.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 nearbeer (2572) - Knoxville, Tennessee, USA - APR 2, 2008
12 oz. Clear topaz with a small, sorta-lasting head. Aroma is grain, honey, and maybe some peanuts. Flavor is strangely similar, and not unpleasant. Maybe its the cypress barrels? Light-medium body is a bit too frothy and slightly dry.
