Grassy hop aroma with perhaps a bit of pale malt. Bright golden color with a frothy white head that stuck for awhile. Near medium in body with coarse carbonation. Almost corny grain flavor backed by light grassy hop. Better than Bud, but not all that much. Finish does leave some bitter, which helps.

Sweeter and less carbonated than the typical bland macro, but otherwise very similar. I guess you drink this on Bourbon St just like you’d drink Lone Star at College Station?

Appearance of ubiquitous pale yellow american lager. Aroma of sweet gravel with permumy hints. Dirt like in the olfactory. Near haylike and then it clean up a little on the palate. Industrial processed feel on the tongue, to an extent. Unique attitude and character tho pale yellow lager. Not offensive but is difficult at times. Quite like any american pale lager. Aftertaste haunts for a while.

Bottled. Poured clear bright golden with just a dusting of white head. The aroma picked up sweet corn, pale malts, and honey.. left a darker almost vegetal impression. The flavor had sweet vegetal and honey sweetness at the core, leaving cardboard and honey on the finish.. just a little grassy bitterness around the edges. Light-bodied with high carbonation on the palate (too much).. dry, somewhat refreshing finish.

Bottle poured a clear pale yellow with a lasting white head. Aromas of corn, straw and a hint of citrus. Palate was light bodied and crisp. Flavors of bread and a hint of citrus with a crisp clean finish.

UPDATED: FEB 27, 2009 Man, for what it is this is a very nice beer. I had a bottle this at El Bait Shop in Des Moines. Very pale, smells of straw & malt. Had a taste I thought was reminiscent of Pabst; however I would say that this is better. The wife noticed a slight cidery sweetness and I agree. Not very much corn flavor here, just very crisp and refreshing. Don’t get me wrong this isn’t a luxury beer or anything, but it’s very nice for a pale lager.

Received a single 12-oz bottle from oetiii in Antigo, WIsconsin. Pours a clear light blonde straw brew with a thin and fast dissolving white head that leaves behind just a thin white ring. Aroma of light white bready malt some citrus zest and some grassy hops. Taste is light bodied, very carbonated with flavors of light bread malt, some dried hard fruit and a touch of grassy hops. Finish is watery, light grain, then a clean cut and crisp finish.
