2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 Fin (5479) - Merton, Oxfordshire, England, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - OCT 22, 2007
Bottle from the Dodgi’ Deli’, Cowley Road, Oxford 18-10-07 Poured amber with medium carbonation and no head. Aroma was Whisky/Bourbon and oak. Tasted Whiskyish or was that the oakyness again? Not my thing, too sweet, no biterness, some sweet malts, not good at all.
2.1 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 davegore (215) - liverpool, Merseyside, ENGLAND - OCT 16, 2007
Bottle from my local indy, bought as an import but when I looked at the label it says because of the damage to the brewery after katrina it’s now brewed in the EU...what I have to ask is whether the true brewed stuff is any good because the EU stuff is rubbish. Highly carbonated, completely like a bad british lager, dull colour and a slightly soapy mouthfeel with too much sweetness. Not nice.

Bottled. A highly carbonated goldish coloured beer with no head. The aroma is sweet and sour, and artificial also. Apple notes in the taste. Pretty nasty.
2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 LeRay (17) - Louisiana, USA - SEP 24, 2007
I used to drink this beer when I was a lot younger. Then forgot about it, then recently started drinking it with crawfish and loved it! Then Katrina hit and now it’s hard to find. I always buy it when possible. It’s one of my favorites!
2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 5/20 RSRIZZO (1634) - Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA - SEP 23, 2007
Had this beer on 12/20/1999. Color is a light gold with fair carbonation and a light head. Aroma is a sweet malt scent. Taste is overly sweet and a bit creamy. Starting with a medium body it goes down with a bland creamy feel. Finish is creamy almost sour with a flat bitterness.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 Joeh (2036) - Buckinghamshire, ENGLAND - AUG 11, 2007
Bottle, contract brewed in the EU. Smooth, malty lager with restrained bitterness and some cereal character. It’s nowhere near an outstanding beer but is very soft with no off flavours at all. Brewed to be drunk easily.
