| 1.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 4/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 6/20 | Mar 18, 2003 Pale gold in color with lots of carbonation and a white head. Basic lager flavor; kinda blah. Further support for the theory (my theory) that good beer is hard to find in Southern states. Panzuriel (997), Westerville, Ohio, USA

Just good solid beer beer. Good beer for the Bud Drinkers out there to try something different. HighGravity (891), Baltimore, Maryland, USA
| 0.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 1/10 | 1/5 | 1/10 | 1/5 | 1/20 | Mar 6, 2003 Sweet and simple corn accented brew. Pasteurized to death. Very palain, simple, and highly carbonated. Frank (1076), Chicago, Illinois, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Mar 3, 2003 Dixie is a great example of how this style (American Standard) can actually be good. Pleasing golden color and a nice, thick head with beautiful lacing. Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Enough hops to balance the mellow malt sweetness. Finish is clean and smooth. ¾ (5012), Boulder, Colorado, USA
| 1.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 2/10 | 1/5 | 7/20 | Mar 1, 2003 Clear yellow, macro-look to it. Moderate white head. Smells strong, little wheat and malt, and has an aroma with more character than most lagers. Smooth in the mouth, but it tastes like urine, and is very watery; an awful taste of burnt peaches and paint. Syrupy aftertaste, which begins to taste very sour, like dishsoap. | 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Feb 25, 2003 This is a beach beer. On a hot day, you take it to the beach and drink it straight out of the bottle. If any sand gets in it, it can't hurt the taste too much, so who cares? ARMed (488), Garnet Valley, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Feb 22, 2003 Has a distrinctive flavor for an american beer. I enjoyed the flavor and wanted a second. It was unique, crisp, clean and unobtrusive. Clearly better than many of the mass produced american beers that compete with Dixie. WabashMan (817), Noblesville, Indiana, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Feb 11, 2003 Typical color and thin white head start this one. Aroma is fairly nice for an American Standard. Kind of sweet. Flavor...not much there, really, though a step or two ahead of the super watery macros. An alright beer, though not a good one.
