It’s cheap, it’s watery, it’s...another light American lager...but this one actually has a bit of flavor. Good for them.

Golden. Long, thick white head. Aroma: Malt, grains. Flavor: Grainy malts, a touch of hops. Crisp. Light, bitter finish. Hey, I am not a big fan of Pale Lagers but you can do far worse, so "I’ll make my stand in Dixie!" It has more personality than the standard american Macro-brews.

Yellow with only a bit of head even though there’s plenty of carbonation. Not much going on with the aroma and then the taste is some malt with a touch of hoppy bitterness. There’s not a lot to the finish either. It would be tough for me to recommend this as even a crossover beer.

Pours yellow with a 1 finger creamy white head that has good retention. Aroma is corny ferment, cereal grain, a little grass and doughy yeast. Flavor is corny ferment, toast, odd (actually kinda nice) earth notes, and salty bread dough. Palate is light bodied and a little slick on the entry to fairly dry on the finish with a medium carbonation. All in all not too shabby for a Pale Lager, but nothing special.

Clear yellow, white foam. Aroma is empty, some vanilla. Taste is plain, corn, malt, husks.

330ml bottle. Very cloudy when poured into the glass. Dirty amber colour with a scattering of white bubbles trying to cling together. Malt and grain aroma with nothing else discernable. Basic flavours with nothing that stands out. Refreshing enough, might be good for a session.

Off-putting corny aroma but a very refreshing light lager overall, with a neat twist at the finish (hop + cypress)? Pleasant stuff--i bet it wasn’t as good before it entered the hands of a Southern Wisconsin microbrewer? (7-Eleven, 10306--New York state allows beer sales there, and they let you break up 6-packs too!)
