jodyperkins (65), Mississippi, USA Mar 16, 2008 Drank from a bottle in NO. Typical pale lager - reminded me of a cross between an abita amber and st. pauli girl (for but not nearly as good as either). Hopefully they can get back to something similar to their original brewing process.
jason (1506), Easton, Pennsylvania, USA Sep 1, 2008 Bottle. Poured a golden pale body with thin head. Grainy aroma with some light fruit. Flavor is grainy and sweet. Poobah (69), New Orleans, Louisiana, USA Aug 31, 2008 Pale gold in color with a faint malty aroma. The thin head lingered for a while. Relatively smooth mouthfeel. Somewhat sweet on the tongue with rice-like aftertaste. I look forward to the re-opening of the brewery. ILoveNewBeer (82), Iowa City, Iowa, USA Aug 21, 2008 This is a decent beer, nothing special. I drank it around, pure guess, fourty to fifty degrees and there wasn’t all that much flavor. drpimento (499), La Crosse, Wisconsin, USA Aug 20, 2008 whoooooo put the skunk in the bottle? Poured with a huge thick foamy white head. Plenty of lace. Flavor wasn’t quite as bad. Not saying a lot. Decent body. pale gold color. Think this one was light struck and woulda been a whole lot better before the dastardly deed. Too bad as this is a sample and therefore won’t be carried. jimmay (15), Waterloo, Ontario, Canada Aug 17, 2008 Bottle from New Orleans. Very pale golden colour. Pale aromas, sweet. definitely smelling the corn. Whiteish head dissipates quickly. Appropriately a pale lager. Cool label.
