This is not bad, same characteristics of everything else from this brewery. Light and easy to drink, balanced, watered down.

Dixie has been around for a LONG time. Seems like in the old days you just never knew what to expect with each batch! Since those days the beer has been more stable and I find that enjoying this beer is sort of an acquired taste. I’ll always have one just for the fun of it. I wouldn’t put this one on my list of must haves. Just nostalgic.

Awful sickly sweet smell, thin sweet taste that does not linger. The smell is awful making it difficult to drink. Flavor is thin so not as offensive as the aroma. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Pours a clear golden color with a small white head. Has a fruity grainy weak caramel aroma. Sweetish malty grainy flavor. Has a sweetish malty grainy finish.

This beer has a great flavor and no nasty after taste. It is mellow with good taste and goes down very smooth. I am a dark beer drinker because I cannot stand the taste of Miller, Michelob and the likes but this beer has changed my mind.
