Pours deep mahogany into a shaker. Off-white head with recedes quickly to skim surface. Sour, nutty aromas. Thin with sour cocoa upfront. Lasting sour caramel finish.

Not bad at all- but probably not something I would buy again if I had the choice. Tastes like a lager, a little dark, but also a bit watery for my taste. A strange mixture...

Pours a nice clear mahogany brown, and doesn’t have much of a head - the foam dissipates fairly quickly. Aroma is fairly strong, smoky with undertones of malt and yeast. Flavor is typically lagerish, but has a firm smoky component, and hints of yeast. Texture is smooth and fizzy, a little on the thin side but not a downer. Not a great beer, but worth giving a try.

Pours very dark brown, produces a creamy 2 finger tan head. Dark malty aroma. Tastes of toasted brown malt, light caramel, lightly sweet. Bitterness not pronounced, but seems to fit just right. Medium body, creamy palate. Will buy again.

Pours maroon with a short lived beige head. Smell is sweet, dirty, old, metallic and yeasty. Nauseating. Taste is pretty sweet but not as bad as the smell. A bit smoother and more balanced flavor without any real bitterness or hop flavor coming out. More like a malty amber or sweet lager than what I think of a schwarzbier. One and done.

Chestnut body with crimson highlights and small milky cream-colored head with moderate lacing. Aroma is sour malt. Flavor is bitter coffee, bitter chocolate, and just plain bitter. Medium mouthfeel. Just not that good!!!

Dark brown with red highlights. One finger light tan head with modest lacings. Aroma is caramel and molasses. Taste is bitter roasted malts with a touch of smoke. Fair amount of hop bitterness and light molasses flavor. Easy drinker and a pleasant surprise after the regular lager. Pretty good session beer if you like the style. Cool label art.
