Bottle. Medium attempt at a Kulmbach style of beer. It’s a lot weaker than they made it 3 years ago. Still not to bad of a fall hinted , halloween beer.

Pours an iced tea almost diet cola color. Aroma is sweet with a syrup smell to it. Taste is interesting with a caramel bread flavor. Aftertaste is of burnt malt, with a roasty tinge at the swallow. Overall a decent beer in an interesting style.

Bottle- Pours a deep amber color with a big head that fades to nice lacing. Mild aroma of malt sweetness, with grain and trace of spice. Taste of malt sweetness, some grain with a bit of citrus. Has a bitterness that seems to linger. Fairly light body, sort of gritty odd texture. Decent beer, thought it would have some interesting character. This seemed to come up short.

Medium brown with a thin off white head. Hardly any visual carbonation. Light malt aroma with a sweet malt taste. A little more hops would balance this beer out better.

Darker brown with a moderate head. Little smell to speak of and a slightly skunky taste, though it doesnt stick with you.

Sweet smoky malty aroma. Dark iced tea colour with white head. Taste is sweet and malty. This was quite good, especially considering its Minhas.

Hmmm. An interesting brew. I really don’t care for what taste like really cheap malts in this brew. It is thick and not nice on the palate.

Bottle. The pour was a coca-cola brown with some reddish highlights and an average sized (1-2 finger) light beige creamy head that diminished quickly down to just a thin film and a small foamy collar, which did create some excellent sheeting of lace. The aroma was bold and roasty of a roasted caramel malt and a mild leathery yeast with notes of caramel, chocolate, a mild dark fruit and a bit of ash. The taste was roasty, malty and mildly sweet with a hint of caramel from the start with the finish being about the same, but with a mild fruity presence and a touch of smoke at the end. The flavor lasted quite a long time after the swallow with a nice smoky/fruity taste left to linger on the taste buds. Mouthfeel was almost medium in body and a bit oily yet still rather creamy in texture with an almost prickly carbonation. Overall very tasty and satisfying brew, one which had a nice bold roasty taste to it. Although I am not a big fan of this style, this one was quite enjoyable.
