EithCubes (5070) - New Jersey, USA - FEB 18, 2013
Bottle. Nose is grassy, lightly stale, little grain and a little powder. Pours a deep orange-golden with an ephemeral white head. Sweet, artificial flavor skirts the rim of being cloying, there’s weak grain and grass, a little stale tasting, and the malt is so thin as to barely register. Light-bodied but not watery, mild and mildly crisp, a little dirty.

Deep down in the Mississippi River, there is a great deal of sediment, which is the crap that comes from New Orleans. This beer would make that sediment look tasty and desirable.

jetzler (622) - oklahoma city, Oklahoma, USA - SEP 26, 2008
Bottle, pours very light brown color with a white head. Tastes very light slightly sweet, no character or mouthfeel just like water. Ok it was better than Mich Ultra Amber but not a whole lot.

Clear golden pour. Grain and a hint of butter on the nose. Taste is a dry grain and touch of butter. Not too fantastic or refreshing.

Bottle from Mother in Law. Has a sweet honey aroma on the nose not very refreshing. White head with light amber body. Metalic sweet malt flavor. Thin bodied brew.

Bottle. Sweet corn syrup malt aroma. Clear brassy gold with a small white head. Sweet corn syrup malt flavor. Light body, soft/flat carbonation. Pretty bad.

i enjoyed the regular Dixie (which had less going on, but less "off-ness") more than this. The prickly light feel and the weird malty tomes just didn’t work for me. A little on the generic corny side of things."

Cleaning out my bottle collection and came across this one which I will display. This was a typical pilsnner style macro. Nothing particular.

VTHopHead (1511) - Barre, Vermont, USA - JUL 4, 2009
Bottle - Pours a slightly hazy amber in color with a small whitish head that quickly fades... not much carbonation at all. Aroma is slightly sour and almost wine-like. Hints of corn and cheap adjunct fermentables. Flavor is also slightly wine-like with a slightly sour finish, no hops to speak of and not much else. Is this really beer? Not good at all...
