I bought two 7oz bottles of this a few years ago. I drank one then and it was awful. This one has been in the back of my fridge ever since. What better excuse to drink it than to trash it on the internet. Yeah, I suppose it is an interesting idea, but the smell and taste are just so intense with artificial flavors that it really isn’t beer. It’s like eating spoonfulls of wedding cake icing. It is so rich that I can not finish it. It is not a good dessert beer because it is undrinkable. I never thought of mixing it with stout. I’ll go see if it helps or if it just ruins the stout.
-- PS: It just ruined the stout...

The label on the 7 fl. oz. bottle says, ’White Chocolate Brew.’ At first sniff, it’s a strong alcohol based coffee-additive vanilla on top of a candy carmel that later seems to congeal into a very bright toffee and maybe a hint of herbal hops. The taste is light, sweet and cough medicine bitter. Even as a dessert beer it lacks fundamental beer elements in flavor and aroma, such as some kind of sensory association to yeast, grain and/or hops. I’m looking forward to better brews by this brewer.

Poured a brownish color with light bubbles for a head. Aroma of vanilla frosting on birthday cake. Taste was very sweet and cloying. Interesting as a black and tan with Florisgaarden Chocolat.

This is a local ’beer’ for me, and while I can’t say that I hate it, my low ratings reflect my opinion of it *as a beer*. As alcoholic cream soda it’s pretty good.

What the fuck is with all of the chocolate flavor. It does smell like cake frosting. Weird , due to the strong chocolate presence with the dehydrated piss color. Too much flavor. I'd rather enjoy a choclate bar with a good beer.

This is one that could make me eat my words on needing bigger samples. Most beers I will maintain that you need to try more than once and with a good size sample. I've had this more than one and might get a tattoo to show that I'm that tough.

This is the first time I’ve ever thought 7oz. was too much. Tastes like 7-up with vanilla extract, a couple drops of Kahlua, and maybe a bucket or so of sugar, or maybe Sweet & Low. The best word to describe this ’brew’ is ’disgusting.’ If it deserves any points, it’s only for their attempt at uniqueness. Unfortunately, that attempt failed and they still decided to release this beer with Bullwinkle on the label. I assumed Bullwinkle’s presence was just for general elegance when I bought it, but now I think he’s just there to mock you after you’ve choked down his bottle of liquid candy.

The most pleasing aspect of this beer is that it was given to me. The bloke behind the counter warned me off this, saying it was disgusting. The first whiff of this beer confirmed my fears that white chocolate flavoured beer can never be a good thing. Yes, thankfully the bottle was small so there was less to pour down the sink. This should be mousse.
