Commercial Description:
Both the British and Americans are good at using hops - in slightly different ways. We have combined the best from both traditions and created Schopenhauers Vilje ("Schopenhauer's Will"), a beautiful amber coloured ale with a floral character, caramel notes and - like the philosopher Arthur Schopenhauer - a good portion of bitterness. This brew can be enjoyed on a hot summer's day, a cool evening or accompanied by e.g. poultry dishes.

Bottle, 6.5% at Frederikshavn øl- og vinfestival 07. Nice citric hop aroma. Cloudy orange colour, small white head. Very good hop flavour, aromatic and flavourful. A very good beer.

A hoppy ale with a fresh taste. The palate is gentle and the flavor is bitter, a tad edgy and energy giving. Maybe not spectacular, but my favorite of the Djævlebryg.

Shady copper color, creamy tan head. Sweet caramelly grainy and hoppy scent. Sweet, malty, light bitter smooth taste. Smooth mouthfeel, medium high bitterness.

50 cl bottle. Amber color, off-white head. Hoppy aroma. Flavor is hops and sweet malt, fruit. Bitter finish. Maybe a bit thin, but a great APA.
