sayravai (3029), Helsinki, Finland Apr 12, 2008 (Bottled) Very hazy amber with a medium, creamy and lacy head. Strongly floral-lemony-hoppy aroma with fruity maltiness. Pale-malty, floral-hoppy flavor with a long, dry and bitter finish. Medium body with creamy mouthfeel. A nicely dry and hoppy ale. Could be a bit crispier and even drier, but very nice still.
skortila (2359), Bunnik, Netherlands Jun 30, 2008 Tap @ Aarhus beerfestival 2008. Aroma has hops, citrus/grapefruit. Hazy, amber coloured with an off-white head. Taste is bitter, bit dry, has some grass and pine.Bit malty as well. Fruity. Good. JorisPPattyn (4248), Antwerpen, Belgium Jun 25, 2008 Amber-copper beer; good but vanishing cream-coloured head. Beautiful grapefruit nose, sucade as well; well-balanced. Soft bittersweet taste, again sucade or preserved orange. Very slick MF, bit sticky. Very good, hoppy, and yet balanced ale. FatPhil (1965), Espoo, Finland Jun 20, 2008 500ml bottle (Pikkulintu, Helsinki)
Deep copper, small creamy head. Sweet fruity hops on the nose. Quite lively on the tongue, needs a bit of a swirl. Decent sweet malts, prominent bitter hops, some soapiness. Leaves a tingly hoppy and slightly soapy finish. Good to the bottom of the glass, but leaves me a bit sticky and needing a drink. Pinball (259), Allerød, Denmark Jun 5, 2008 best before 23.05.08. nice aroma at first (hoppy) but then i got some aged beer below that.. being that it’s not exactly fresh, it could be expected. looks great. clear dar yellow and a giant lasting vanilla-white head with small bubbles. flavor : hoppy hoppy bitter. yummy. a little watery but in a very refreshing way. bitterness is aslo a little sweet (caramel+something good i don’t know how to describe) aftertaste lasts forever. beneath the bitterness i get some fruit. caesar (2471), Zeist, Netherlands May 24, 2008 Tap @ Aarhus beerfestival 2008. Clear orange color, short head. Nice hoppy aroma. Decent bitter pale ale taste. Bit dry.
