COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Editor’s note: Previously brewed by Djævlebryg at Brøckhouse, Hillerød, Denmark.

Danish: Bryggeriet Djævlebryg and the Danish Atheist Society have entered into an unholy alliance and the result is "Godless": This first batch is a somehow accessible imperial stout with its 8.9% abv. It offers burnt notes from the malt mingled with sweet nuances and a warming depth from the alcohol. This brew is primarly aimed at members of the Atheist Society, but it will also be available in selected shops and bars. In these times, when companies are expected to show social responsibility, we in the brewery have decided to follow suit: For each bottle or draft sold we donate 1 Danish Krone to the Danish Atheist Society.

Taste at beer and whisky festival gothenburg. Really nice nose and Palate. This is a typical imperial except that it is really good! This one I Will definetly ger My hands on. One of the vetter i've had. Only way this could have been vetter is with bourbon barrel storage. All the different tastes are very prominent. Mouthfeel is very nice!

Keg at the City Pub, Goteborg, 21/03/14. Light black with a good sized tan covering that retains well. Nose is roast malt, toffee fudge, chocolate, light spice, dark malt, liqourice. Taste comprises much the same with a trace of booze flowing through it. Full bodied with fine carbonation. Ok impy but lacks a little depth.

Tap at the City Pub, Gothenburg. Poured a dark mahogany with a thin tan head. The aroma is creamy caramel roasted malt. The flavour is medium bitter with a slightly watery hop malt coffee peaty palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Nice and chewy with lots of flavour.

For a godless beer, it's pretty heavenly. Pours rich dark brown with a creamy tan head. Aroma is sweet dark fruits and bitter chocolate. Flavor follows. Lots and lots of chocolate. Fairly sweet. Full bodied and creamy. A gift from God despite the name.

Meget velbalanceret, god krop. LAng ristet bitter eftersmag. Appelsin-agtige noter.
