English: Mystikale is a top-fermented red-brown beer inspired by Sottish as well as Danish brewing traditions. Mystikale is brewed with 6 different spices, among others liqourice root and hip shell, which give the beer a complex and intriguing taste. Mystikale goes very well with traditional Danish lunch and spiced poultry dishes.

Hazy brown-orange with thin fine off-white head with yellow tones. Very spicy aroma - cinnamon, cloves, ginger, cardamum.Quite full bodied - expands in your mouth. Very nice dry spicy flavours with caramel.

(On tap) Very unclear orangey brown with a creamy, light brown head. Very spicy aroma - I detect ginger but apparently this is not added. Medium body with some caramel and then again very spicy accents of spices. Some bitterness in the finish. Interesting. 011206

Bottle. Golden, brilliant clear with a off-white. head. Great nose of spices (really hard to determine); maybe cardamum, heather and cinnamon. Quite sweet, full-bodied, low to medium carbonation. Flavour is very spicy, a little unbalanced.

Bottle. Creamy low but lasting off-white head. Hazy brown body. Peppery aroma. Smooth and pleasant flavor of coriander and mild hops. Low carbon dioxide contents, good. Maybe just a weak hint of cocoa in the aftertaste. Definately interesting. Looking forward to your next beers.

Grovlam (4206) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - DEC 2, 2006
Draught at Ølbutikken, 1 Dec. Colour was very muddy and dark brown like, with a creamy off-white head. Aroma was very spice and pleasant. Smooth mouth feel with notes of Star Anise and liquorice root as some of the six spice ingredients. The combined spices gave me an experience of chewing gum essence, but in a nice way. Very refreshing and mild and pleasant sweet. Medium bodied with a sweet spicy finish. Very drinkable beer I must say.
