2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 suedehead288 (191) - BELGIUM - OCT 11, 2012
2012.10.11 - bottle 50cl - amber beer - nose : particular flavour, a bit like a paint product, cinnamon, spicy - mouth - strange !! spicy and sweetness - beer with own odeur and taste, respect for that (but it’s not my cup of tea). Too spicy (makes me think of brewery ’de Graal’, for which i have a lot sympathy, but slow down guys when you add your spices !), strange, strange end. Christmas-beer-look-a-like.

3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20 JanLaursen (2155) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - SEP 6, 2011
Bottle, 50 cl: Unclear red amber beer with a frothy slowly dimishing off-white head. Aroma is malty and spicey with notes of caramel, licorice, rosemary, lavender and pine. Flavor is moderate sweet and slightly bitter. Spicey yet smooth. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is (too) soft. Not my favorite kinda beer, but a nice flavorful, dry, rather long lasting finish.
