Dark red colored, fastly vanishing yellow head. Cloudy appearance. Cardamoom dominates in christmassy aroma, berries, licorice and some sweet caramel also there. Medium bodied, obvious carbonation. Flavor has again this traditional Danish-hoppiness, which somehow reminds me of spinach :) Cardamoom, caramel and licoreice also there in good balace, aftertaste has berries with mildly drying touch.

Hazy brown-orange with thin fine off-white head with yellow tones. Very spicy aroma - cinnamon, cloves, ginger, cardamum.Quite full bodied - expands in your mouth. Very nice dry spicy flavours with caramel.

Bottle at home. Strange general appearance. Funny brown-red colour, and strange smell/ odour. Spicy aroma with different herbs and minty notes. Medium sweetness.

really nice aroma, sort of stout like, but not that powerfull. but nice & well rounded. Looks good too, very nice flavor, round, soft, spicy, but not agressive.. good palate, overall a good beer, with a distinct but pleasant taste. Only complaint is it tasted a very little aged and the aftertaste was a little bit cognac like. best before aug.2008, perhaps it’s a little old, i don’t know. Otherwise real great bew

Bottle. Dark amber colour with an average head. Aroma and flavour of spice, dark fruit and malt.

Bottle thanks to bu11zeye. The smell is spices, chammamoile, sweet, and licorice. The look is cloudy, red in color, and has no head. The taste is sweet, caramel, ok.

Tasted in 2009 (backlog). Cloudy amber in appearance with a small off-white head. Aroma is of cinnamon, bay leaves, ginger and malt. Taste is of caramel, ginger and spices.

A special beer. really spicy, lot of herbs. Reminds you almost of Christmas glögg or mulled wine. Somehow bittersweet and sour at the same time. Nice dark amber colour.

Bottle, best before 25/09/09. Aroma of sweet potato, nutmeg?, cinnamon?, allspice?, carrot, caramel. Flavor feels very veggie-laden, seems to be more spice than vegetable in the description, but who knows. Sweet veggies and sweet caramel malt are balanced by the spices. Medium bodied. Ok.

at Pikkulintu shared bottle with Finnish Ratebierians Color: amber Scent:fruits Taste: sweet malts,dried fruits,flowery, bit hops may be bit too sweet for my taste.
