English: An accumbent experience; that is one way of describing the adventure ’Nekron’. A discrete smoky character from both peat and beech smoked malt defines the bottom layer. In the middle, a light caramel sweetness and the vinous alchohol take over. The roasted malts and barley add notes of coffee, chocolate, and roasted rye bread. The moderate hop bitterness mixes willingly with the whole. Nekron can easily stand alone but enjoys the company of heavier dishes or chocolate rich desserts.

Svart farge med høyt brunt skum. Lukter kaffe og sjokolade. Mest kaffepreg. Meget fyldig med ganske kraftig kaffesmak. Meget god!

Bottle from trade with fonefan, many thanks!

(Djævlebryg Nekron) Bottle 330 ml from humlelala, thanks Kristopher! Served into a snifter, ABV 8.5% The colour on the body is a totally black one, with a tall and thick, creamy, brown head. Quite good retention, it leaves medium lacing on the glass. Aroma has roasted malts, some peat, smoke, light acidic notes, light chocolate after a swirl of the glass. Great taste, lots of roasted malts, coal, ash, light vanilla, well hidden alcohol. Medium tick body, carbonation on good levels. Sticky palate. Very very good, really liked it.

Bottle. Pours a thick pitch black with small beige head. Aroma is really roast and loads og dark malts. Coffee, dark bread and chocolate. Taste is all the same, but more chocolate. Really smooth and silky mouthfeel despite the robust malts. Really balanced and round. Has the dry chocolate finish with some bitterness.

Excellent beer. Roasty, black chocolate, great balance. Bitter finish. Very creamy black pour with mocha head and lacing. Creamy texture with a little oil but pulls off thick without being syrupy. Tap at Pizzeria Paradiso Georgetown.

Opaque black with thick, tan head. Aroma has raw, bitter licorice and coffee. Flavour has more coffee, a lot of hop bitterness well balanced with alcohol and semi-sticky sweetness. Finish is slightly rough. All in all a very nice beer.
