Commercial Description:
An accumbent experience; that is one way of describing the adventure 'Nekron'. A discrete smoky character from both peat and beech smoked malt defines the bottom layer. In the middle, a light caramel sweetness and the vinous alchohol take over. The roasted malts and barley add notes of coffee, chocolate, and roasted rye bread. The moderate hop bitterness mixes willingly with the whole. Nekron can easily stand alone but enjoys the company of heavier dishes or chocolate rich desserts.

On tap at EBF 08. Black, lasting tan head. Lovely aroma of ginger biscuit, excellent choc, wow. That’s full in the mouth, great chocolate, really intense. Fullish to start with, then becomes dry. Intense arma. Really good dry malts. It’s like nothing I’ve had before. Drinking choc, with slightly stinging finish. Stunning.

Heavy malty, dark chocolate and smoked aroma. Huge creamy, light brown head. Excelent lacing. Black body. Heavy bitter flavor with smoked notes. Long finish duration. Medium to full palate.

50cl bottle from Barley Wine. Best before 2008-10-04. It poured a pitch black colour with a big beige creamy head that settled down slowly in the glass. The aroma smells of roasted coffee, roasted malts, dark chocolate and alcohol. The flavour is slightly bitter and tastes of dark rosted coffee, chocolate, malts and alcohol. It has a long, lingering aftertaste.

Coffee and orangepeel nose. Opaque black, creamy brown nose. Coffee and chocolate, restrained fresh hops. Creamy mouthfeel. Quick finish. Metallic aftertaste.
