Bottle shared by boboski: Pours a mostly opaque with dark mahogany edges and a spotty-lacing froth of dark tan head. Aroma of sweet, rich caramel and chocolate with a touch of smoke and roasted malt. Body starts with good malty sweetness and viscous dark caramel and dark fruits toward a roasty, bittersweet, drier finish. Nicely-balanced, complex and enjoyable.

Tap at DØE. Black with a beige head. Aroma and flavour of roasted malt chocolate, licorice and caramel.

Pours pitch black with a nice smooth head. Aroma of roasted malts, licorice, chocolate and coffee. Taste is roasty and slightly sweet with notes of licorice, tar, chocolate and spices. Finish is roasty and long lasting with some sweetness. Okay, quite tasty stout.

Pours a black colour with an off-white head. Aroma of roasted malts, rye bread and some lactose-like notes. Flavour of roasted malts, rye bread, chocolate, caramel, bitter hops, hay and syrup. Full bodied, oily mouthfeel and a long, roasty and smooth finish. Great stuff.

Aroma is roasted with licorice and some ash. Flavour has licorice, some metallic savor and ash. Dry and roasted finish. Good, although the savor disturbs here a bit. It disappears towards the end though.

Pours pitch black color with small head. Aroma of liquorice, chocolate, ripe and dry dark fruits, some coffee notes and toasted malts. Flavor of liquorice, toasted malts, coffee and hints of vanilla. Very dry and malty palate.

Aroma: chocolate, licorice, some kind of candy.
Taste: coffee, coffee ground acidity, medium bitter, some licorice, berries, some kind of candy.
Above medium-bodied, smooth but with some sharp bubbles.

Pours black brown with a nice creamy lasting brown head leaving lace. Aroma is ashy roasted tary malty coffee licorice a bit sweet-sour. Flavor is fruity fresh roasted ashy licorice acidy and dry vinous. Finisches acidy dry and bitter.
