500 ml bottle, from Voldby Købmandsgaard. ABV is 8.5%. Cloudy amber colour, moderate off-white head. Strong sweetish aroma of over-ripe berries and stale jam, some piney hops too. The flavour is distinctly hoppy throughout, not quite as sweet as I feared, piney and earthy notes, slightly stale marmalade in the background. Bitter aftertaste.

Bottle shared and bought with Kraddel. Overaged (Bb 19/3/2011). Sour aroma. Alcohol taste is quite expressive here, medium bitterness. Not that bad, but fresher probably better. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Backlog. I like this one, heavy on the hops with loads of citrus and grass but not compromising on the malt aromas. Try it!

Bottle. Pours a clear amber beer with a medium sized, off white head on top. Aroma is heavily hopped with touches of caramel and toffee. Not so much citric stuff going on, more grassy and earthy. Flavor has a nice medium bitter body going on with a firm backbone of caramel. Nice to sense a light sweetness backing up the bitter taste of this beer. Very well balanced, long, light bitter aftertaste. Medium carbonation going on. Very nice, well crafted brew.

ivorywhite head that disappears with structured lacing. amber clear colour. aroma of alcohol, wood and hop resin. taste like the aroma with a long bitter finish and a bit salty. medium body and carbonation. an okay ipa but not great. probably lost some aroma and flavour due to being more than 2 years overdue when tasted ;) bottle 50 cl / best before 19-03-2011

Bottle, 17/05/13, BBE 08/12/14. Pours an auburn orange amber with a medium-sized, beige head. Aroma is very resinous, loaded with caramel. Some juniper and floweriness. Taste is very resinous again, quite dry, a bit thin body. Not much fruitiness. Some nettles, more floweriness, not that bitter. Quite full, not much carbonation.

pours muddy orange with a frothy off-white head, good retention and lacing. loads piney and citrusy hops, very yeasty and peppery, earthy, spicy and grainy malts, some bread crust and a hint of caramel. some sweetness though - tad too much. average carbonation, medium body - oily, medium long sweet and grapefruity-piney finish. boozy, very boozy. relatively complex and an enjoyable sipper..
