COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Editor’s note: Previously brewed by Djævlebryg at Brøckhouse, Hillerød, Denmark.

English: This beer is worthy of the Dark Lord. In both smell and taste it is a true orgy of the senses: Burnt, bitter and sweet. Savory and warming, full bodied and complex. Pride of Nekron is simply put a majestic meal in itself.

Smak och doft av humle, malt, choklad med toner av kaffe och hallon. Krämig och med en trevlig beska. Spännande.

Draft to goblet Dark chocolate, chipotle peppers, lemon, mushrooms, and malts. Deep brown with a thin tan head with nice lacing. Chocolatey, malty, with a nice nutty bitterness. Very creamy and full bodied.

Blakish brown body with a massive brown cap floating on top..... it took the bartender 8min to pour it. Sweet fruity aroma with darkness, melted neopolitin ice cream, very mild ash. Aroma is good not great. Taste is the same but thicker, sweet melted icecream, bitter chocolate, and raspberry. Elements of ash, almost apple juice in the finish. Earthy! For 10.5 this is so light feeling. Burnt sugar starting to show up. Good and highly drinkable, but I’ll forget about in less then a week.

Bottle from Mane Liquor. Pours jet black with a small, creamy looking light tan head. Nose shows sweet vanilla and caramel mixed with big, roasted malts and a touch of ash. Heavy dark bitter chocolate there too. Very creamy mouth feel. Very sweet too. Loads of vanilla which quickly overrides the dark chocolate bitterness with heavy, oily and sticky sweetness. Definitely for the sweet tooths out there. Big and roasty with some hidden booze. Dark fruits come out as it warms. Good stuff but very sweet, a little too sweet

Very dark brown beer, good tan head. Light palate, a little dry. Smooth sweet dark malt with a trace of coffee and a touch of spicy and sweet bubblegum. Really well joined up. Semi dry finish. This bottle at least 2 years old.

Great name; I wanted to burn shit and kill stuff and yell "NEKRON!" but instead I simply enjoyed my 4oz pour from Churchkey in DC. Looked a bit thinner than expected; not much head on this black beast. Nose of sweet malts, fruits, some grainy notes. A bit of odder yeast than most. Dunno... just didn’t do all that much for me.

TEJA (1156) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - DEC 12, 2012
Draught at Stockholm beer and whiskey festival 2011. Thinn head. Fruity aroma with some madrification. Fruity, sweet taste with some burnt malts. Big body. A bit too sweet.
