English: This beer is worthy of the Dark Lord. In both smell and taste it is a true orgy of the senses: Burnt, bitter and sweet. Savory and warming, full bodied and complex. Pride of Nekron is simply put a majestic meal in itself.

Black as the hell it is worshiping. The head is cappochinolike-brownish with huge bubbles. Unfortunately it fades away to quick. The nose is dominated with chocolate but also alcohol, malts and hops... scient of winther. The taste is very sweet with dry fruits and a nice bitter finish. There is chocolate up-front and a certain spicyness like (sorry) some heavy christmas beers. The palate is nice thick and creamy

Pours a beautyful black with a nice brownish head. Aroma of roasted malt, and chocolate. Taste is medium sweetmalt with salty liquirice and a good amount of roasted bitter chocolate and coffee notes. Dry vinous finish.

Bottle 50 cl. Pours dark brown - close to black - with an orange hue and a dense, light brown head leaving some lacework. Intense aroma of dried fruit, burned malts and alcohol. Quite full-bodied with sweetish dried fruit - raisins and prunes - with hard roasted malts. Vinous alcoholic finish with some malt bitterness. 231208

Draught at EBF 2008, Copenhagen. Similar looks and flavour to the other Nekrons but stronger and to me, less enjoyable. Only had a small sample, will re-rate next year hopefully!

Draught@EBF 2008. Pitch black, creamy choco head. Strong and delcious aroma of refined malts, coffee and milk-chocolate. Notes of fruity hops. Taste is full malty, gently sweet, with caramel and chocolate, and some nice dark fruits. Medium to full body. Thick mouthfeel. Warming, malty and bittter ending. Very nice, very powerful.

Keg (EBF2008, Copenhagen)
Zingy hoppy aroma, fruity too. Sticky burnt taste. Huge zingy mouth, tons of roasty choco body. Burnt finish. A bit too alcoholic, but not offensive. A little sticky too. Potent. Prefer the other two.
