COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Editor’s note: Previously brewed by Djævlebryg at Brøckhouse, Hillerød, Denmark.

English: This beer is worthy of the Dark Lord. In both smell and taste it is a true orgy of the senses: Burnt, bitter and sweet. Savory and warming, full bodied and complex. Pride of Nekron is simply put a majestic meal in itself.

Bottled. Pours black in color with a tan head. Roasted coffee, milk chocolate in aroma. Feels quite smooth. Cold coffee and cocoa powder sweetness in taste. Slightly harsh though in taste at first which fortunately mellows out quite faste towards a more chocolatey and slightly roasted way and thus feeling quite smooth. Nice cocoa powder sweet finish.

6/15/2011: Pride of Nekron Imperial Stout... Aroma: Intense dark chocolate, tobacco, vanilla/creme brulee; caramel richness. Appearance: Pretty much black with a nice brown-colored head. Flavor: Milky, vanilla, chocolate, caramel blend; decent smoke quality; rich, deep, and moderately complex. Palate: Medium-full, smooth and big; delicious! Overall: Damn, this is a good beer, surpasses my expectations, and is probably the best of the night.

Smak och doft av humle, malt, choklad med toner av kaffe och hallon. Krämig och med en trevlig beska. Spännande.
