Commercial Description:
This beer is worthy of the Dark Lord. In both smell and taste it is a true orgy of the senses: Burnt, bitter and sweet. Savory and warming, full bodied and complex. Pride of Nekron is simply put a majestic meal in itself.

Black with a fine dark foam that lasted. Heavy coffee aroma along with liquirice. Flavor is medium sweetmalt again with salty liquirice and a good amount of roasted bitter chocolate and coffee notes. Not alot of hobs are detected, but thats quite alright!

Draught@EBF 2008. Pitch black, creamy choco head. Strong and delcious aroma of refined malts, coffee and milk-chocolate. Notes of fruity hops. Taste is full malty, gently sweet, with caramel and chocolate, and some nice dark fruits. Medium to full body. Thick mouthfeel. Warming, malty and bittter ending. Very nice, very powerful.

Keg &#40;EBF2008, Copenhagen&#41;<br /> Zingy hoppy aroma, fruity too. Sticky burnt taste. Huge zingy mouth, tons of roasty choco body. Burnt finish. A bit too alcoholic, but not offensive. A little sticky too. Potent. Prefer the other two.

0.5 l bottle. Pitch black with dark tan head. Coffee, licorice, raisins, dark bread and salty licorice in the aroma. Sweet very pronounced coffee and licorice flavor with raisins and bread. Warming, too carbonated palate. Tasty and rich brew, this could be more complex though, now it is mostly about coffee and licorice.
