COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Editor’s note: Previously brewed by Djævlebryg at Brøckhouse, Hillerød, Denmark.

English: This beer is worthy of the Dark Lord. In both smell and taste it is a true orgy of the senses: Burnt, bitter and sweet. Savory and warming, full bodied and complex. Pride of Nekron is simply put a majestic meal in itself.

Tap. It’s pitch black with a creamy head. The aroma is full-bodied and nice with notes of roasted malt, chocolate and dark fruits. The flavour has notes of roasted malt, dark fruit, chocolate, coffee, sweetness and a roasted bitterness, that lasts throughout the long, long finish. It’s a truly nice stout, that I look forward to tasting again.

Pours a pitch black colour with a nice big brown head. Chocolate, syrup and coffee on the nose. The flavour is medium sweet with roasted malt and licorice. Medium bodied with a well-hidden ABV of 10,5 %. Mouthfeel is warming with a bitter finish. Excellent brew by the likes of DH1 and DH2.

Bottle from Ølbutikken , CPH. Pours black with a big beige creamy head. Aroma of dark chocolate and hard roasted coffee, promising, also a whiff of ammonia liquorice. Taste is first and foremost thick lovely liquorice, some roasted coffee. Aftertaste is lingering dark malty caramell. Thick and oily mouthfeel. A good beer for a long night

Black with a big and lasting tan head. Roast malt dominate the aroma, with licorice, tar and smoke. Strong, intense flavour of roast malt, licorice, warming alcohol and a hoppy bitter finish. Superb and unique.

(Bottled) Almost black with a smallish, beige head. Very original aroma, a bit like "tilliliha" (could ir be diacetyl?) - also sourish and salty. Smooth, roasty, licoricey, tarry, very salty and pleasant flavor. Alcohol well hidden. Full-bodied, very silky-smooth palate. An interesting, silky, truly great Imperial Stout. Might be even too salty in larger doses, though.

[Sampled at DØE-festival with Helga, Søren and Anne, Århus 2008.] A very great beer with black look and brown head. Notes of great roasted malts, smoke, wood, coffee, some chocs. Dryness and vanilla also. Good finish and a big wish for more.

Black with a fine dark foam that lasted. Heavy coffee aroma along with liquirice. Flavor is medium sweetmalt again with salty liquirice and a good amount of roasted bitter chocolate and coffee notes. Not alot of hobs are detected, but thats quite alright!
