Sweet fruity nose with caramel and plums. Toffee, candy sugar, honey, good bitterness, but slightly astringent towards the finish. Quite alright. austone (579), Turku; Pori, Finland Oct 20, 2008 Bottle at EBF. Hazy copper, thick and nicely lacing pale head. Sweet molassy nose, plum, some hops and spiciness. Smooth malty flavor with nutty ice-cream and prune. Little hops in the finish. Almost full bodied, smooth carbonation. It felt more like a Belgian ale. petermadsen (355), Vesterbronxxx, Denmark Oct 8, 2008 An amber beer with a nice hoppy kick. The aroma is quite heavy on the caramel with the hops complimenting it.
The flavour is hoppy with the caramel and toffee notes in a quite apperant position. Medium bitter.
