Fruity, rather hoppy aroma, grapefruit, caramel, passion fruit, apples, a lightly toasted chocolate note, orange peel, spruce.
Off-dry, medium body, high bitterness, balanced CO2.
Fruity, hoppy taste, quite solid malty backbone, caramel, grapefruit, yeast, herbs. Ends quite bitter, with a somewhat rough, yeasty finish.

This pale ale has a slightly strange earthy taste, but it probably comes from the hops. Dark golden coulor with a fine white head. Hoppy aroma.

Clear amber with an off-white head. Aroma is caramel and rather hoppy - grapefruit. Flavor is medium sweet and rather bitter. Bitter finish. Nice APA. 200309

Cloudy amber pour with a thick, frothy, offwhite head. Nice aroma of fruity, resinous hops. Good flavor of fruity, resinous hops with mild bitterness. The body is light with a creamy texture and moderate carbonation. Interesting.

500ml bottle, amber color, with a fluffy beige head, yeasty, toasted malt, herbal, spicy, floral hop leafy nose with a faint a mild candied orange peel, peachy esters, with a light toffee, caramel aroma follows through on a medium-bodied palate with a yeasty, fruity, toasted, caramelized, biscuity malt character, with a nice flowery hop, candied orange peel, peachy, minty leafiness flavor, with some light piney, resinous accents, leading towards a malty, hop candyish, peachy, leafy bittering finish.

Pours a medium appearance with a good sized head. Mild hop aroma. Medium mouthfeel, understated hop flavour, however it is enjoyable drinkable and somewhat complex. Not the best pale, but a good one.

Brown bottle, 500 ml, best before 281009, via Importations Privées Bièropholie (merci Hughes!), savoured on December 9 2009; eye: copper with caramel hue, hazy, good effervescence, nice beige head, slight lacing; nose: resinous hops, malt, caramel, pine; mouth: resinous hops, malt, caramel, light orange, light burnt, pine, finale in resinous hops with presence of caramel, medium-full body, rather bitter, mild astringency, lightly harsh texture, average carbonation; overall: quite likable
