50 cl bottle @ home. Pours black with some sediment and a tan head that leaves some lacing. Aroma is liquorice, roasted malt, chocolate, vanilla, and a little smoke. Flavour is roasted malt, chocolate, and smoke – with a slightly bitter finish.

Bottle at Clockwork’s Dec 8th, 2012 tasting. Pours a dark brown body with light lacing. Aroma is roast, sweet cocoa - pretty straight forward porter thus far. Mouthfeel is medium with notes of roast, light hop bite, spice, bitter chocolate, and coca.

Bottle that I took to a tasting at James’s place. Pours a deep black with a thin tan head. Cocoa, chocolate on the nose, a bit of roast. Medium bodied, cocoa, roast, a tiny bit astringent. Not a lot of depth or character. Roast, cocoa, chocolate. Soft bitterness. Decent I guess.

Pours black with very low beige head. Aroma is of roasted malt... ... ... Taste is of roasted malt, sligth acidity. Palate: ligth-medium body. Overall: Nothing outstanding. Bottle a bit too old, but I would be surprised if this beer was way better one year back.

Bottle (500 ml). Traded by SlovakSniper, thanks Patrick! Almost black with a small beige head and some lacing. Aroma of roasted malt, coffee, caramel, chocolate and a slight acidic presence. The taste begin with an acidic off-flavor along with roasted malt and slight caramel and chocolate notes. Mouthfeel is thin and watery. The bottle is BB 07-2012 so maybe this one is just too old.

Sample @ SBWF 12. Black colour with a brown head. Smokey coffee aroma. Flavour is burnt, malt, coffee.
