Ins Glas ergießt sich ein goldenes Bier mit ordentlicher Schaumkrone. Geruch stark nach Bananen. Geschmack ebenfalls sehr bananig, wernig Biergeschmack.

UPDATED: APR 19, 2014 Pours almost completely clear pale yellow color with a small white head. There is a strong yeasty aroma intially followed by an artificial banana smell. I generally like banana aroma, but this one is just off-putting, really.. The taste is weird. I can’t decide if it is a sour beer (cider like) or concentrated banana juice that’s gone a bit bad. Whatever it is, it doesn’t really taste like beer.

A very strong banana aroma. Flavor not as sweet as expected. Flavor of banana with sour notes. Color is yellow with a white head.

Bottle from Ambrosetti, Berlin. Clear pale yellow with a small white head. Aroma is heavy banana, banana cake and chewing gum. Flavor is quite sweet. Sweet finish. 261013

Bottle. Artificial candyish banana aroma. Pale golden, low white head. Suragur sweet candy, pisang ambon flavor, medium body - sickly sweet sticky finish, banana retronasal. With less sweetness and a bit acidity this might be drinkable. As it is - no.

Bottle. Slightly hazy yellow color with a thin white head. Aroma of banana candy. Sweet taste of banana essence.

Bottle at Delirium Café. Another fake foreign beer - advertised at Delirium as being Angolan but actually brewed in Belgium. It’s difficult to rate something that’s more banana juice than beer. It tastes, er, bananery.

ClubGonzo (4175) - Bergen, NORWAY - AUG 26, 2012
Bottle. Clear pale yellow body, small white head. Aroma is insanely sweet artificial banana tones, overriped as hell. Holy shit, I dunno if I shall dare a sip of this. But I have to. :-P As expected, artificial banana of the sickeningly sweet, overripe variant all over the place. The relatively thin palate doesn’t make things better. Horrible stuff.

Rating #716, bottle from Pi Pa Po Biere, Berlin

A golden, bit unclear beer, with a big head. Aromas are somewhat artificial banana with some pilsener malts. Flavors are the same but with a bit of metal as well. Thin palate.

Sampled at Gothenburg Beer Festival 2011. September 3, 2011
Aromas of artificial banana, candy foam, sugar. Very chemical and concentrated. Tastes like a soda or something you’d use in a cordial. Very weird...
