330 ml bottle from Ambrosetti, Berlin. Clear pale golden with a small white head. Rich passion fruit nose and mouth with little more coming through. Some malty notes in the tail. Drinks fresh and fruity with little room for beer. I had feared how this would be after reading the other ratings. But, considering other radlers I’ve tried, and the fact that I’m fond of passion fruit this suited me pretty good.

330 ml bottle, kindly shared by abemorsten. ABV is 3.6%. Pale golden colour, moderate white head. INTENSE and sweetish aroma of passion fruit and artificial "passion fruit" candy, bordering on "sickly". The flavour is all sweet and sugary "passion fruit" soda/pop - in a blind test I would SWEAR that this was a fruit soda, and not a beer. But as I like passion fruit, I can drink it - would like to pour it over ice cubes, though.

Bottle, shared with Bergen Beer Geek Tasting Crew. Clear light golden body, small white head. Nose is strong, sickeningly sweet artificial-like passion fruit tones, sulfur, rotten banana and plenty of fusel alcohol. Oh, the horror!! Taste is sweet passion-and-sugar-tones, fusel alcoholic yeasty notes, hints of banana and lemon. Sticky and yet scarily thin palate. Stay clear of this completely pointless beer (doesn’t even get you drunk at its low ABV) unless you have a masochistic urge to savor something resembling the bottom remains of that old passion fruit juice carton you forgot in the fridge for about 2 months. Scary stuff.

0.33l bottle shared with The Tasting Crew. This is a clear golden one with a small bubbly and light lacing white top. Smells a lot! Really fruity and sugar sweet. Smells much more like a sports-drink than a beer. Fruity as hell, lot’s and of passion sweet fruit and mango. Way to sweet! Let’s taste it: Sweet syrup alert! So sticky and sweet in taste that it’s actually a bit scary. Concentrated tropical syrup slushy nectar boiled in to the unrecognizable. An sour apply syrup thing tries to balance in the finish, but I feel it fails miserably. I actually made a passion fruit sorbet once and I also failed miserably on the sugar amount in the recipe. I had over 5 times as much sugar as I should, and still this is way sweeter than that. Not an enjoyable "beer". 24.09.2012

330 ml bottle. This beer is sour and a tad sweet. Kind of tastes like bad cidre. Too sour for my liking.

Tiny white head. Cloudy apple juice-like colour. Passion fruit aroma, as you can expect. Extremely sweet taste and a sweet sour palate. This tastes completely like soda.

Bottle. Sugary-sweet nose bursts with passionfruit, no doubt about it. Unfortunately, there’s no trace of beer and the overall impression is one of Crystal Light’s devilry. Burnished, sickly gold pour with a frothy white head. Taste is extremely cloying with nothing but intense, slightly tangy passionfruit. The nice meaty part of the fruit, perhaps, but still artificial and very hard to drink.
