Clear fox brown colour, off-white head. Aroma of caramel, wood, light vanilla, apricot, touch of hops. Light bitter flavour, sweet, caramel. Light astringent. Lingering bitter finish. Not the most outspoken oak aged beer, but quite enjoyable.

PotjeBier (1582) - Amsterdam, NETHERLANDS - JUL 3, 2013
Tap @ Tilburgs BF. Deep amber color. Long lasting, dense off white head. Aroma痴: sweet malts, herbs/spices, light wood, more wood retronasal, also red fruit. Flavor is moderately sweet with wood tones. Medium bodied. Would probably have been a mediocre Belgian style beer, but the subtle wood makes this quite enjoyable, albeit not extraordinary.

caesar (4893) - Bunnik/Utrecht, NETHERLANDS - JUN 30, 2013
Tap @ Tilburg. Hazy amber color, medium head. Aroma of soft oak wood, bit spicy from the yeast, flowery hops, hint of vanilla. Soft sweet taste, slight dry. Medium bodied. Reminds of oak aged isidor. Wonderful balance, good complexity. Probably i would find the base beer boring, but the oak gives great depth. Good job!
