COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Polotmavé šestnáctistupňové pivo "DOBŘANSKÝ DRAGOUN"
Město Dobřany se s prvními dragouny seznámilo v r. 1794. Byli to dragouni cisařsko-královského pluku č. 2. Městská kasárna se nacházela na náměstí č.p. 158 (sousední dům - dnešní hotel). Dragounský pluk č. 7 byl v Dobřanech až do roku 1912. V jeho řadách sloužil následník Rakouského trůnu a pozdější císař Karel. Červené dragounské kalhoty připomíná odstín barvy šestnáctistupňového polotmavého speciálu.

Dark beer with a creamy head. Nose is a little bit smoked and chocolate. Body is full, texture slick, carbon medium. Taste is sweet and bitter. Palate evokes very dark chocolate and ripe plums. Bitter aftertaste. Drafted@BF

50cl bottle thanks to Joes. Hazy red-brown color, small off-white head. Smell and taste a foul, chemical sourness and infection. Finish is sour metallic and some bitterness. Yuk! Can’t be intended.

Bottle @ home thx to joes. Hazy amber to orange colour with a bog off-white head. Smells rotten eggs, poo-ish, horseblanket.. Pretty weird smell. Tastes sourish, malty, some red fruits, pretty dull and a bit watery. Thin body, no carbo.

Pours a dark amber red. Nice fruity head typical of Czech beers. Much more bitter then I thought it would be. Spicy, almost tannic in the way it dries your mouth. Slight hops on the nose.

draft. brown body, fine bubbled off-white head. mild but exquisite nose of toasted grains, toasted rye bread and faint fruity esters. rich and toasty burnt cracker flavor with wonderful dryness and firmness, finishing with light cola / toffee and barely-burnt crackers.
