(Rating #4860)

On tap in a very shady art student bar in some courtyard just west of Brno center. They advertised Chotebor and Dobruska but this was the only one available. University student crowd. Clear gold pour, frothy white head, thick sheety lacing. Light grainy aroma, herbal, some mineral/metallic notes. Taste is grainy, the same mineral notes are even more present taste-wise, light grassy hay finish, quite refined. Palate is very dry, good carbonation, lacks a bit of the silkiness that make svetles so easy to put back.

MoritzF (8590) - Bochum, GERMANY - APR 30, 2011
(plastic bottle, 100cl) Clear, deep golden colour with a short and slightly off-white foamy head. Sweet and buttery malty aroma with bready and subtle fruity notes, accompanied by a tinge of herbal and woody hops. Surprisingly bitter flavour with a balanced malty sweetness, rather light bodied but not watery; soft carbonation. Buttery and slightly bready malt-character with a present Saaz hops profile; bitter-sweet rounded malty and hoppy finish. Very pleasant for a 11° brew. 26.IV.11

pivnizub (9004) - Bochum, Porúří, GERMANY - APR 26, 2011
Lahev, 1000ml, z Pivoteky: Deep golden, clear, small and stable white head; moderate buttery and pale-malty nose with a distinctive hoppy touch; light to moderate bitter-sweet flavour, light bodied and soft; slightly lingering hoppy and buttery finish, accompanied by a light fruitiness. Good, archetypal bohemian Pils........
