COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A humble pale Belgian-style session ale, brewed with pilsner and wheat malts, and fermented with a Belgian Abbey Ale yeast strain. A style is usually reserved for the monks! Fruity up front with a crisp, dry finish.

Tap at Mugs Ale House: Hazy light golden pour with a white film of head. Dry phenolic aroma with a biscuity malt background and a light bubblegum ester presence. Crisp body- dry and biscuity with a mild peppery phenol and noble hop presence on the back. A nice Belgian style session.

750 ml bottle. Cloudy brown with lacy white froth. Nose is toffee, grass, roses and grain. Crisp and lively medium body; a bit only. Taste is apricot, lemon yoghurt, honey and parsley. Simple and clean with lovely floral notes.

Tap at Mugs. Very pale straw-coloured beer with a sticky white head. The nose is a combination of lemony hops and a bit of spicy yeastiness. Fresh pilsner malt with a kiss of sulfur that actually works quite nicely in here. Spicy with a kiss of light bubble gum and fruity over a crisp, crackery dry finish. Fairly hoppy on the back... it’s quite a good take on this style. Kudos to the brewer.

Tap at the Grey Lodge. Pours a hazy golden with a medium white head that laced. Aroma of Belgian Abbey yeast esters, spicy notes, banana, tropical fruits and some peppery notes. Also getting floral and citurs notes along with bready malt. Flavor of the same spicy and fruity Belgian yeast notes, mixed citrus and bready malt. A really flavorful Belgian Ale for sure.

On tap at the Grey Lodge. Poured a medium and cloudy yellow color with a smaller sized white head. Aromas of spices, fruitiness (bananas), and yeast. Tastes of the same fruitiness, yeast, citrus, and spices. A nice and drinkable beer.

{Draft @ Grey Lodge] Hazy golden color with a medium sized, white head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of banana, clove, citrus fruits, vanilla, toast, and toffee malts. Taste of banana, citrus fruits, vanilla, toffee malts, some toast, and a dry, yeasty finish.
