The beer pours a reddish-amber color with a white head. The aroma is full of toffee and brown sugar with some dark fruit notes. The flavor is similar. I get a strong dose of raisins and other dark fruit including cherries and plums, as well as some toffee and brown sugar. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

750 ml bottle. Deep brown with clear edges; brief froth leaving a haze. Nose is brown bread, plum, raisin and toffee. Medium body with a buzz. Taste is brown sugar, caramel, fig and nutmeg. Richer as it warms but still needs some mellowing.
