UPDATED: DEC 28, 2005 12 oz bottle-pours a foamy offwhite head with clear gold color. Aroma is malt with a non-favorable edge and hops. Taste follows right in line. What is that additional characteristic? rerate-had this again, thanks to Rosemarie-no drawbacks this time. Must have been a bad batch previously. Great balanced malt/hop character.

Draft... GBOA ’06... Crystal clear golden ale with a small, creamy, off-white head. Excellent retention. Nothing picked up aroma-wise. Dashes of crystal malt and herbal hops in the flavor. Lightly sweet up front, then it bitters out... leans just slightly on the bitter side of balance. Medium-bodied and mildly oily with lively carbonation. Lengthy, moderately bitter, drying finish.

Pours a slightly hazy orange bronze with a thin, clingly lacing white head. Aroma of lightly sweet caramel malt with a hint of oxidation. Body starts semi-sweet and earthy with a hint of toffee and mildly piny bittering hops toward a thinner lightly doughy finish. A fairly bland amber, but not offensive.

Dark straw pour with aroma of caramel malt, some hopcit and toffee. Tastes caramel malty with some toffee and nuts. Not bad but not earth shattering.

bottle. Pours a slightly hazy medium amber with a thin lasting head. Aroma is toasted and crystal malts, caramel, lightly nutty, and very slight in the hops. Ligth flavor with just some caramel malts, some nuts, light citrus and herbal hops. Clean finish and lightly bitter. Mouthfeel is a bit on the light side and a slightly slick.

This amber pours a light amber color from a 12oz bottle. Small to medium sized white foamy head. Aroma is caramel, toffee and sweet with a touch of honey. A medium bodied amber. Malts are caramel, fruity and sweet. Hops are mild, slightly earthy and floral. A touch thin and watery, but sort of standard for an amber. They all seem to be thin and watery and a weak tasting lately, wonder why that is? This beer does have a nice crisp and dry finish so it has that going for it. Its your typical brewpub standard amber. Mouthfeel is a touch thin. Finish is crisp and dry. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

12 oz bottle, consumed in a nameless suburban Philadelphia restaurant. Medium clear amber, malt and honey in the nose with a touch of smoke and herbal hops. Smooth, moderately sweet, dullish flavor, decent palate until finish, which gets quite watery. Ehhh, it was good with steak I guess.

Poured a mildly hazed light copper color with a minimal sized head. The aroma and flavor were of light malt. Dull with a hint of citrus in the flavor. Light-medium bodied.

Bottle. Pours amber with an off white head. Sweet crystal malt in both the aroma and flavor, with a hint of hops coming through to save a rather bland and boring beer.

FROTHINGSLOSH (3388) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 20, 2006
Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a light caramel color with a small white head that fades quickly. The aroma is faint sour malts. The flavor is moderately malty and smooth with light floral hops and a dry nutty finish. Pleasant if unspectacular.
